The dogs hit the park yesterday morning with a thud as they all fell out of the truck and began running around like they had missed 3 weeks of exercise not just 3 days!  It was a big crazy group of all boys.  Meeko was especially happy to be with his buddies and he had no problem letting every person he saw know who he was and that he was sooo happy to meet them.  He found a true Dane fan and it was mutual true love (until someone else came along.)  Marty has taken to teasing Ryder and Ryder hates to be teased and really hates puppies.  I think Marty knows this and eggs him on.  Several times I could hear Ryder just barking like crazy and when I looked at him I could see Marty fleeing like a little mad man.  We need Copper back to play with Marty before Ryder has a nervous breakdown.  Nicky looked stunning with his beautifly coiffed hair.  The rough collies look so pretty when they have been groomed.  Gary and Sisco walked with us in the morning.  J and Sisco really enjoy each other and it is cute to watch them together as they are such an unlikely pair of friends.

The afternoon group was just as nutty as the people and dogs at Edworthy discovered as we hit that park with a thud as well.  Everyone with the exception of Cheetos was thrilled to be out and about even though it was a little cold still.  Vinnie, once he had his duds on, was especially spry.  Destiny, Taz, Rover and Everest where very much into chasing unsuspecting dogs.  The other dogs were game and led them on a wild ride through the wooded area of the park.  I am surprised that we got out of there with no puncture wounds.  After a couple of mass chasing adventures I had to hold on to the ring leaders when we came across new dogs.  It is interesting to note that the dog owners that greeted and welcomed the attention from our pack where less likely to have their dogs chased.  Hmm... maybe it has to do with true dogs lovers and the effect it has on balancing their pets behaviour.

So lets all put our collective energy into willing mother nature to give us a break and at least bring the temperature up to 0.  Only in Calgary would someone wish for 0.
