Wow!  What a day!

We hit the park with quite a bang this morning.  Tim and I took both groups together and the dogs were way beyond excited when we hit Edworthy.  They practically fell out of the truck and people all over the park must have know that the Fun for Dogs crew had landed.

Tim could barely get the balls flying fast enough and it took me quite a while to get caught up on all the poop.

Gabby, Pina, Oakley, Crazy Copper, Rover, Wilson and Bruin were gaga to have Tim playing with them and followed him around like a dog-god. Going after the balls with a frenzy.  Frankie and Ryder stayed near the big guys just to be near Tim.  Josie, R2, J and Copper Duck Dog Ripley just hung on the fringe and did their own exploring and visiting with new friends at the park.

Several times Oakley, Josie and R2 took off down into a gully in search of water.  They would come back a couple minutes later muddy while the rest of the dogs consumed about 11L of fresh water at the truck.  Not sure why those three did not clue into drinking fresh water.

After about 45 minutes of steady ball play the dogs were calm enough to go for a little walk to explore other areas of the park.  And the best part was the walk back to the truck where every dog fell in behind Tim and I and marched back to the truck with their tongues hanging out and thoroughly drained and content.
