Another gorgeous day for dogs and me.

The morning group was excited to be together after a long weekend apart.  Bruin was raring to go and was actually barking at the front door for me.  He is usually a little slow in the mornings and has to be coaxed to the truck especially if his dad is still home.  Bruin wasn't thrilled to be placed in the back of the truck as he much prefers the back seat - listening to XM in a climate controlled environment.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays Ellie gets that privilege.  I am not sure why but she sits still and does not make a sound so I assume she appreciates it.

We all went down to the river for a drink and to cool off.  Wilbur got the ball and was packing it around.  He looked really silly as the ball barely fits in his little mouth.  He holds on to it like it is life or death and guards it with everyone of his 22 pounds.

On the way to dry off after the river Bella decided to take a running pounce on Wilbur and he was sent flying, hit the ground and rolled and the ball did not leave his mouth.  The look on his face was priceless and he is so tough he just got up and shook off the dirt and kept going.

Ryder was into hanging out with the riff raff and stayed close to the gang.  He is able to blend into all surroundings even green grass that this is a big deal.  Thanks Ryder!!

The afternoon group was loud as usual.  Tylenol Tuesday.  Josie, R2, Frank, Cheetos, Rover, Nina, Aspen, Owen, Everest and Wilbur were all very excited to get to the river to cool off.  We spent almost an hour at the water.  Ev and Owen enjoyed it the most because they are the water dogs.  Rover just loves to chase the dogs chasing the balls and a couple times went too far and had to actually swim.  Nina just bounced around alongside R2 while Josie and Cheetos enjoyed sunning themselves.  Aspen tried so hard to keep up with the big guys but she is only six months she is not ready to be accepted as a full fledged water dog.
