Another manic Monday for the Fun for Dogs crew.  At least the weather was beautiful!

We had a big group of boys today:  Vinnie blue eyes, Kip, Everest, Wilbur, Joey, Ryder, Rover, Original Copper, Bruin and my lone girl Whistler.  Vinnie is the party animal of the group was egging on everyone to chase him.  He had a couple takers from dogs outside of our pack but mainly the guys in our pack like to stick together.  Joey had a hard time letting Rover check anyone else out.  Joey likes to keep close tabs on on his buddies.  Anytime another dog would come near Rover Joey would start barking like a maniac to try to scare then away.  Joey used to be the right-hand-man for Original Copper but has since turned his alliances to Rover.  Rover is not impressed!  Original Copper is only slightly miffed by the lack of attention.  We played ball for a while but as usual some of the guys get too excited and it turns them into whining, barking duffuses so we have to stop.  Whistler ignored all the boys and me for that matter and did her own thing. 

The afternoon group mushroomed into quite a dog party!  We had a lot of sibling combos and that made pick ups and drop offs faster and easier than they would normally be if the group was full of singletons.  Original Copper fell in love with Chloe and Ellie which is NOT good considering they are sisters.  Ellie was having no part of the luvin and was quite nasty to Copper but poor chubby Chloe was really upset by the attention and tried to hide under my truck. 

All the goldens found puddles to lay down in and came home smeared with mud and happy as can be.  I am not sure why the dogs with the longest hair find laying in muck so appealing. I tried to steer them toward the bigger meltier puddles and the areas that still had snow in order to wipe some of it off.  Ahhh spring! 

Frank was a little weird today.  He kept gravitating to a woman who had three kids.  Frank hates kids. I wonder about that little critter sometimes.  He can be such a contrarian!
