Sorry not so many blogs about the dogs lately. My computer is acting up regularly and I get tired of waiting for it.
This morning Everest, Copper, Joey, Riley, Rover, Ryder Bruin, Vader and Wilbur all enjoyed getting to the park. The snow was lightly falling and the temperature was mild and there was hardly anyone else there. Very pleasant experience. As usual the dogs were too good until they got a little naughty and ganged up on a golden. In their defense the golden was unbalanced, they did stop as soon as I told them to and they all sat in a neat semi-circle in order to calm down before they were allowed to carry on. How come the busybodies are never around to see that kind of behaviour? Riley was not happy to pulled out of his cozy home but came around after a while and seemed to enjoy the walk. Wilbur was equally not happy about being kept on a leash but he was caught standing under a big dog on the weekend waiting for droppings. Too gross!!
The afternoon group consisted of: Sara, Taz, Auzzie, Frank, Taylor, Shea, Pina, Sam and Nina. As usual we tried to play ball but the guys just weren't cooperating and they ended up taking turns hogging the ball and then teasing the others with it. Eventually we decided to just walk. We took to the far sides of the park as this usually were the really good smells are and the dogs seem to love the longer grass and trees. Sara who is only with us for three weeks was definitely the leader of the pack today. Taz her younger but gigantic brother was having a hard time keeping up with her and several times became confused when he lost sight of her. He just adores her. I can see that she at times was actually trying to ditch him and have some "grown up" girl time.
